Most people traveling to Southwest Florida are burning cash on transportation without even realizing it. If you are looking for a Punta Gorda car rental, you are likely staring down corporate daily rates that would make a local blush. I spent the week analyzing real-time data from the major players to see exactly how much your wallet is bleeding. ## The Brutal Reality of Corporate Rentals When you compare the standard rates at Enterprise, Hertz, Avis, Budget, and Sixt, the numbers are shocking. Most of these providers hover around a $65/day average, especially when you factor in the fees added at the Punta Gorda Airport (PGD). Doing the math is simple: $65/day multiplied by 7 days equals $455 per week. ## The Hooptie Alternative By contrast, our $200/week flat-rate model changes the entire landscape of the Gulf Coast travel scene. That breaks down to just $28.57 per day. Here is the breakdown: * Corporate Average: $455/week * Hooptie Rental: $200/week * Total Weekly Savings: $255 In one month of travel, you save over $1,000 by skipping the major brands. Whether you are heading to Fishermen's Village for shopping or trekking out for some tarpon fishing, keep that extra cash in your pocket. "If you aren't saving $255 every single week on your rental, you're essentially paying a premium for a logo on the back of your trunk." ## Why Renting With Us Makes Sense We keep it simple.
