Most college students in Southwest Florida are throwing away thousands of dollars a year on traditional rental agencies. If you are tired of the bait-and-switch tactics at the airport, it is time to discover the secret local loophole for a Fort Myers car rental that actually fits a student budget. While your friends are stuck paying sky-high underage fees at Enterprise, Hertz, or Avis, savvy students are keeping their cash in their pockets. ## The Brutal Rental Math Revealed If you rent a standard economy car from a big-name agency in SW Florida, you are looking at an average of $65 per day. That comes out to a staggering $455 per week before taxes and hidden surcharges. At Hooptie Rentals, we flipped the script. We offer a flat $200 per week rate, meaning you save over $255 every single week compared to the national chains. ## Why Credit Checks are Overrated The biggest hurdle for students is the dreaded credit card requirement. Major rental brands trap you with massive security holds and strict credit checks. At Hooptie, we bypass the corporate red tape. We have a simple $50 deposit and zero credit checks. Whether you are driving down McGregor Boulevard, heading to the Downtown River District, or taking a trip to see the Edison & Ford Winter Estates, we have you covered. From reliable economy commuters to heavy-duty V8 towing vehicles for your weekend gear, we provide the freedom you need without the financial stress. ## Join the Revolution You do not need a perfect credit score to get on the road in the Gulf Coast.
