The Hidden Cost of Your SW Florida Road Trip
You think you found a deal on a Fort Myers car rental for $35 a day, but wait until you get to the counter at RSW. By the time the big-name rental companies stack their airport concession fees, vehicle license recovery charges, and mysterious energy surcharges, your receipt is bloated, and your budget is trashed.
The Math They Don’t Want You to See
When you rent from the giants, that $35 daily rate is a mirage. Once you add the mandatory junk fees and insurance upsells, you are often looking at $65 a day. That is $455 per week just to move around the Gulf Coast. Whether you are driving down McGregor Boulevard to visit the Edison & Ford Winter Estates or heading to the beach, you are burning cash on fees that offer you zero value.
The Hooptie Solution: True Transparency
At Hooptie Rentals, we believe in radical honesty. We charge a flat $200 per week. That is it. No hidden fees, no credit check, and just a $50 deposit. We don't care about your credit score; we care about getting you on the road. With a 2-week minimum, you can cruise from the Downtown River District to Sanibel Island without a second thought about your wallet.
Economy or V8 Power
Whether you need a simple economy car for your commute or a V8 towing vehicle to haul your gear, we have the fleet to match. Stop falling for the corporate shell game. You save over $255 every single week by choosing local transparency over hidden corporate surcharges.
