The Shocking Truth Behind Fort Myers Car Rental Prices
If you think the big-name agencies at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) are your only options for a Fort Myers car rental, you are literally throwing money away. While tourists flock to the airport counters, locals in the know are keeping their cash for experiences, not just transportation. Here is the insider breakdown of what you are really paying when you book a standard rental.
The Brutal Math: Is the 'Big Brand' Premium Worth It?
Let’s expose the numbers. Major competitors like Enterprise, Hertz, Avis, Budget, and Sixt average $65 per day. That comes out to a staggering $455 per week. Meanwhile, Hooptie Rentals operates on a transparent $200/week flat rate. By skipping the corporate overhead, you save $255 every single week. That is enough extra cash to spend a weekend at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates or a luxury dinner in the Downtown River District.

What kind of vehicles do you offer?
We provide a range of reliable economy cars for daily commuting and powerful V8 towing vehicles for those heavy-duty jobs around Estero or Bonita Springs.
