Most travelers landing in Southwest Florida are throwing away hundreds of dollars before they even reach the parking garage. If you are hunting for a Fort Myers car rental, the massive rental counters at RSW are a trap designed to drain your vacation budget with hidden concession fees and facility surcharges. While the big names like Enterprise, Hertz, Avis, Budget, and Sixt dominate the airport, they are costing you a fortune. On average, a standard daily rate at these counters is $65, which totals $455 per week after taxes and mandatory airport fees. At Hooptie Rentals, we think that is daylight robbery. Our flat-rate $200/week program is the industry secret the big chains don't want you to know about. By choosing us, you pocket a guaranteed saving of over $255 every single week. It is simple math: $455 minus $200 equals more money for your trip. Stop overpaying for the privilege of a brand-new car you are just going to park while visiting the Edison & Ford Winter Estates. Whether you are cruising down McGregor Boulevard or heading to the downtown River District, you need wheels that work, not a payment plan that hurts. Taking the short trip from RSW is easy—just jump on Daniels Parkway toward US-41 Cleveland Avenue, and you are on your way to saving serious cash. We offer a no-nonsense $50 deposit and zero credit checks, making us the most accessible choice in SW Florida. With a 2-week minimum, we cater to snowbirds and visitors who need reliable transport, from economy commuters to heavy-duty V8 towing vehicles. Forget the airport markup and keep your cash for the Fort Myers Boat Show or a day trip to Sanibel Island. ### How does the $200/week flat rate work? Our flat rate is designed for transparency. You pay $200 per week with no hidden airport surcharges, no credit check, and a simple $50 deposit to secure your vehicle. ### Why is renting off-airport cheaper? Airport locations pass massive facility and concession fees directly to you. By staying off-airport, we avoid those overhead costs and pass the savings back into your pocket.
